Greetings from the Somerset Lions Club!
We are excited to have the Pea Soup Days Parade again this year!
The Somerset Lions Club, Somerset Chamber of Commerce, and Somerset Fire Department are hosting our annual Pea Soup Days celebration on June 9,10,11, 2023. The Somerset Lions Club is planning and organizing the parade scheduled for Saturday, June 10, at 11:00 a.m. SAVE THE DATE!! Parade line-up will start at 10:00 a.m. at the Somerset School complex. Units will line up in numbered order starting in the large parking area south of the Somerset Middle School with entry off Bruce Larson Way and extending westward towards the High School. Somerset Lions Club members will be at the line-up site to assist in getting the parade order arranged. We ask that you park any vehicles not used in the parade in the high school parking lot (behind the High School building). Please enter the school complex on Bruce Larson Way and enter the parking lot to find your parade line up spot. Once we receive and process your registration, your parade number will be e-mailed to you no later than June 1, 2023.
Candy is allowed. There is no charge for parade entry for all members of the Somerset Lions Club and official sponsors of the Pea Soup Day Festival. Non-member businesses and political entries will be charged $50 for parade entry. Non-member non-profit organizations will be charged $25 for parade entry. Entries and payment must be received by June 1, 2023. Proceeds from this year’s parade will help the Somerset Lions Club send diabetic children from Somerset to Camp Needlepoint/Daypoint which are camps in Hudson, WI dedicated to
